Dr. Emily Cheek received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Hendrix College, her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and then completed her pediatric dental residency at Bon Secours Pediatric Dental Associates in Richmond, Virginia. She has also received special accolades through the Imhotep Society and The Richard Doggett and Marguerite Taylor Dean Honorary Odontological Society.
When she was young, Dr. Cheek had a traumatic dental injury where she lost a permanent tooth, however, her pediatric dentist was able to save her tooth as well as her smile. She was so grateful and, from that moment, she knew she wanted to provide the same quality of care for others.
When Dr. Cheek is not saving smiles, she is enjoying family life in the city of Little Rock with her husband, James, their two beautiful children, James and Julia, and their two dogs, Honey and Winston. Dr. Cheek enjoys trying new foods, exploring the outdoors, spending time at Lake Ouachita and cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks.
