Have you scheduled your child's free wellness checkup?

African American mother and daughter.

Parents play a vital role in their children’s health! Incorporating healthy oral habits into your children’s daily routine has a large impact on their future smile and overall oral health. Did you know that every child should see a dentist by the time they are 12 months old? Scheduling their first dental checkup can help prevent dental disease and protect their smile!

Parents should begin flossing their child’s teeth after their baby molars have come in around the age of 2 or 3. By the age of 8 or 9, they should be ready to start flossing on their own!

Dental decay is the #1 chronic disease in children– even 5x more common than asthma! Avoiding sugary beverages like juice, soda, and other flavored drinks is a great way to prevent cavities. Drinking water is always a healthy choice!

A lifetime of healthy habits starts with your child’s first dental appointment. February is Children’s Dental Health Month, and we’d love to see your child for their first dental checkup. Schedule your first well-baby evaluation exam for FREE today!*
