Dr. Safa Maiwand grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and as a young student dreamed about attending dental school at University of California San Francisco (UCSF) . That dream became a reality and Dr. Maiwand graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery from UCSF School Of Dentistry in 2008.
Dr. Waiwand completed a General Practice Residency at the Palo Alto VA and headed for the frontiers of North Dakota where she refined her clinical skills on the Turtle Mountain Chippewa Reservation. After two long, cold years in the Dakota’s, Dr. Maiwand practiced for many years in Los Angeles.
Dr. Maiwand is very excited to join the Central Arkansas community. She enjoys cooking, gardening and hiking around this beautiful state! Dr. Maiwand loves working with children and their parents to provide the best dental experience possible from a young age, to aid in a lifetime of good oral health.
